Dr. James Mitchell - Administration

James Mitchell is a renowned scientist and one of the Lead Researchers of Fade2Black. With over two decades of experience in the field of mortality studies, he has made significant contributions to the understanding of the human experience of confronting mortality. James has an extensive educational background in various scientific fields, including biology, psychology, and sociology, making him uniquely qualified to lead the research efforts of Fade2Black.

He received his PhD from the University of Michigan and has conducted extensive research on the development of cultures surrounding death and mortality. Dr. Plathmuth received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where she focused on the design and synthesis of novel polymers for drug delivery applications. After completing her postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she joined Fade2Black, where she has since been a driving force in developing new methods and materials for the study of mortality.

Dr. Maya McLoftly - Legal

Maya McLoftly is a respected attorney and the lead legal representative at Fade2Black. Her work at Fade2Black centers around issues related to end-of-life care, advance directives, and legal frameworks for euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide.
